Good morning, my fellow constituents of humanity and welcome to another brand new week. I believe we had great and favorable moments, signifying that the week was indeed memorable after all.

This week will be superb, this week will be desirable and delightful for all of us, this is my earnest prayer and wish for all of us. I believe strongly that if we apply the simple principles of natural laws, the tide will be in your favour.

What are these simple principles? you might ask. Yes they are simple and readily doable. Care, kindness>>>LOVE.

How much do you care about those you are better off than? When last did you perform an act of kindness to those who may not afford to pay back? These are some vital and integral ingredients needed in the pudding of success.

Do you think you will be where you are today if someone has not performed an act of love in your life’s path? You think your success story is just because of your expertise and wisdom? Not at all, an act of love in one way or the other perfected it. Fact.

The Holy Book (Bible) admonished us to do unto others, that, which we desire to be done to us. And that simplifies the act of love.

Brethren, giving is a catalyst that attracts favour, success and total wellness. The roads to our successes lie in our abilities and capacities in appreciating mankind and helping others to grow. Imagine a world where we all decide to be one another’s keeper, where we all genuinely care about one another. Think about that.

As we step out to embrace the activities we have lined up for the week, may we consider these pieces above and put them into good practice, then watch as success becomes a servant to us.

May the good Lord protect and guide us all, while blessing our hustles as we embrace these lines.

It is about time again, for the much anticipated “Mbaise Unity Cup coming, kicking off in a matter of days. The tournament, coming from the stables of Ikukuoma Foundation, is being packaged to include more exciting and fun-filled moments of skillful football display, as over 30 football teams with budding stars are billed to showcase their wares.

The maiden edition held about the same time last year, had in attendance,some highly placed dignitaries, such as Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, the Minister of Sports, the founder of Ikukuoma Foundation, High Chief Summers Nwokie, Nigerian Internationals, Tijani Babangida, Daniel Amokachi and the Olympics gold medallist, ACP Chioma Ajunwa.

Basking on the tremendous success accrued from the 1st Edition of the tournament, the organizers have raised the bar, by adding more public-oriented programs. There will be health awareness programs, HIV tests, Blood pressure and Blood sugar tests, free gifts and many more.

In a phone chat with the founder of Ikukuoma Foundation, High Chief Dr. Summers V.C Nwokie, he reiterated his commitment in community and human capacity development, as well as fostering harmonious and peaceful coexistence amongst communities through sports and other allied activities. 

The High Chief (as he is fondly addressed), a doctorate degree holder in Metaphysics, also made it clear that he places more emphasis on the advancement of the budding talents discovered from the competition, as plans have been concluded with some scouts and football agents in nurturing and taking them abroad to play their trade.

The football matches will be played in the three LGAs that make up the Mbaise Nation, namely, Aboh, Ahiazu and Ezinihitte. While the opening ceremony and the grand finale will be hosted at Central School, Ezeagbogu, in Ezinihitte.

To ensure a hitch-free and excellence in the display of prowess by the participating teams, the football pitches have undergone renovations in leveling and grassing, while finishing touches are being impressed for a perfect finish.

The Mbaise Unity Cup, as put together by Ikukuoma Foundation, is still open to partnership with interested individuals and corporate bodies willing to join forces with it, in this historic football tournament.

Good morning, my fellow constituents of humanity and welcome to another brand new week, the 2nd week in the month of November 2021. Hope we all had a great and memorable weekend and are prepared to relish the goodies of the new week.

As we set out for the for the hustles and other necessities of the week, hoping to have favourable opportunities and breakthroughs, there is a great need to brace up and prepare for the developments (good or bad) of the season and time. One of such is security.

It is no longer news that the security situation has deteriorated  drastically and keeps worsening as the days go by, and that is one of the social concerns that should be given premium attention by everyone, especially, these ember months that have notoriety for “need for speed”. Everyone trying to meet up with enough for “Christmas show”.

Online and internet fraud is on the rise, applications and new sophisticated dimensions are being applied in the course of defrauding people of their hard-earned money, take heed, lest you fall victim to these heartless criminals.

Be careful with your financial transactions.

While at the ATM or POS points, be mindful of your PIN numbers, to shield it from public eye.

Do not respond to any call or message requesting for your financial details like, like PIN, BVN.

Do not expose your financial details to untrusted internet sites.

Do not store your account PIN on your phone, your phone might get into wrong hands.

If you are one of those who indulge in defrauding others of their hard-earned resources, I urge you to desist from such and turn a new leaf.

There is a bright future for everyone, all you need is to embrace your profession, career and businesses with the due diligence and maximum commitment.

We must try to do today, things we will be proud of tomorrow. Shun vices.

In continuation of their “Healthy Thinking Club” initiative (an anti-drug abuse and illicit trafficking program), Ikukuoma Foundation in an integrated resource cooperation and consociation with the Nationality Drug Law Enforcement and (NDLEA) and International Society of Substance Use Professionals (ISSUP) took the awareness campaign to Umuokirika Secondary Technical School and Comprehensive Secondary School, Okirikanweke  both located in Ekwereazu,  Ahiazu Mbaise respectively. 

The movement to the two schools were engineered by a renowned philanthropist and humanitarian, Hon Chief Dikemba Chuks Chilaka, who partnered with Ikukuoma Foundation through his humanitarian organization, Dikemba Chuks and Grace’s Foundation.

In his openng speech, the Director General of Ikukuoma Foundation, Comrade Julius Nnaji, showed his delight in the positive response of the students, as well as the interest they exhibited in their quiet zand attentive disposition, he encouraged them to pay attention to the lectures and leverage on the inherent lessons to better their lot.

On the other hand, Hon. Chuks Dikemba Chilaka who was  represented by Mr Ikenna Godswill expressed the burning desire of the Founder in propagating youth and development, hence his support for the anti-drug program to be brought to the schools within his community. He urged the students adhere to the benefits of the seminar, while thanking Ikukuoma Foundation for acceding to his request and hoped for more progressive partnerships in the future. 

Introducing the “Healthy Thinking Club”, the Head of the Health unit of Ikukuoma Foundation, Mrs. Pearl Ihuoma, gave an insight into the content of the club, it’s benefits and the requirements for membership. She further encouraged the young lads to take advantage of the benefits of the club to direct their future to a fruitful and rewarding end. 

The resource persons Mr Samson Uche and Anokam Precious from the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and Mr Ifechi Uchegbu from the International Society of Substance Use Professionals (ISSUP), Imo State Chapter took turns to highlight the different types of hard drugs and other  substances that can be harmful to the body. In their different lectures with the same objective, they climaxed with a  sermonization on total abstinence from harmful substances like cocaine, heroin, marijuana, ice (mkpuru mmiri), and alcoholic substances. 

An interactive session with the students had them asking some important questions, which showed their concern and eagerness to tow the right path with right direction. The questions were, in turn, accorded the right answers by the team of professionals.

In their closing remarks respectively, the principals of the different schools, thanked the visiting humanitarian organizations, as well as the anti drug parastatals for capturing their different institutions in their scheme, they further requested for follow ups and routine seminars and lectures for the sustenability of results. 

The Healthy Thinking Club is a peer to peer anti-drug initiative aimed at using young secondary school lads to inspire a generational orientation against drug abuse and illicit trafficking. The crusade is being carried out across the secondary schools in Imo State and the entire South East.

EMBRACE THE NEW WEEK WITH A COURAGEOUS AND POSITIVE MINDSET.

Good morning, my fellow constituents of humanity. It is with great delight and happiness that I welcome you all to another new week and a brand new month. Wow!, Amazing, isn’t it?
It really calls for celebration, being that we are still strong and resilient, amidst all the global economic, social and health crisis ravaging the human race cum the entirety of the universe. 

Narrowing it down to our country, it is not out of place to say that some man-made misfortunes, like bad economy, insecurity, bad blood, injustice, acts of terror and other allied menaces have made survival a “rat race”. Amidst all these, we are still here and hopeful for the best.
YES, there is always hope for better times, hard times brings out the hidden strengths and talents embedded in us, builds and qualifies us for the unknown. We must learn how to embrace a positive psyche in all situations and circumstances, that is the antidote to these times, lest, depression sets in.

Brethren, life is the greatest gift we have, it can never be traded for whatever. As long as you’re still alive, chances are that you will still have that breakthrough, that great career, job, business opportunity, unending prosperity and every good thing that life can offer. 

Let us all be of good cheer, as the end of 2021 draws very near, believing that the best of our yesterdays will be the worst of our tomorrow. 

I pray and believe that this November will be our best month so far, and it is on this firm belief that I propose a toast to a better tomorrow.

Good morning, my fellow constituents of humanity. Welcome to another brand new week and I hope all of us are very ready to make the best out of it as we keep to the tabs that I have been sharing with us on this platform.

It will be nice if we can assess our performance so far as we are already in the last quarter of the year. Making a self appraisal of your efforts so far, are you happy with what you achieved? Can you beat yourself and say you did well? On a scale of 1-100, what did you score? Are you on surplus or deficit?

Now take a deep breath, reflect on the result of the assessment, highlight and point out where you performed below par. After your evaluation, note down the factors that hitched you from achieving your desired goals. Write them down on a piece of paper or any storage material. This will form a part of your handbook for next year.
Now set new achievable goals, write them down beside the place you wrote the factors that hitched you.

Congratulations, you are already set for next year. This is how to plan early, I bet you, excellence will become a part of you as you adhere to these instructions. Next week, we will set our tasks and yardsticks, next year must dance to our tunes.
